I mentioned that Al Gore was involved in a movie about global warming intended to draw more public attention to this phenomenon that also happens to be something the former US Vice President is particularly passionate about. There is an interesting item on the Apple website about how Gore switched from using old-fashioned slides and easels to using Apple's much raved about Keynote presentation software.

Although I know this is an item designed to take advantage of the phenomenon An Inconvenient Truth is becoming to promote Apple's own software but I love stories about how great software like this (that I happen to have on my PowerBook) is being used on such public projects for dynamic effect. These stories encourage me to use what I have to make an even bigger impact and give me ideas how to achieve that.
