Benefits of blogging

Grant Griffiths, the Home Office Lawyer, has a post about the benefits of blogging.  Some of the benefits are obvious, others not so much:


  • Direct Communications 

  • Brand Building

  • Competitive Differentiation

  • Relational Marketing

  • Exploit the Niches

  • Media & Public Relations

  • Position You as an Expert

  • Reputation Management

  • Low Cost


For me the big benefit is being able to 'speak' directly to my visitors and clients and let them (well, you) know what I am thinking and what is important to me.  I am still very much in a Cluetrain mode ...
