How to respond with criticism

Scoble has a good post on how to respond with criticism. The key thing is to really listen to what people are saying and not to resort to name calling and angry backlashes. If you are not going to respond civilly and even constructively then the best thing is not to say anything at all. Launching vitriolic attacks on commentators will attract plenty of publicity but just not the kind of publicity you want if your desire is to remain credible and to be perceived as the person people want to have a conversation with.
