Oscar-winning actor Jack Palance dies in California

Jack Palance died of natural causes at his home in Montecito, California recently. He was surrounded by family, said spokesman Dick Guttman. Palance was 85 according to Associated Press records. The family indicated he was 87.
I remember watching Palance on the City Slicker movies where he did an awesome job portraying the cowboy Curly and his brother (whose name I forget). I don't really remember watching him in other movies but these performances really stand out.
