Apple updates MacBooks

Nice bit of new for anyone still to buy an Apple MacBook: Apple has just updated the MacBook range. The bottom of the range MacBook now has a 2.0GHz Core 2 Duo processor, 1GB of RAM, an 80GB hard drive. The top of the range black MacBook cruises in with a 2.16GHz Core 2 Duo processor and a 160GB hard drive (expandable up to 200GB). The WiFi card works on the draft 802.11n standard which will also work very nicely with the Apple TV.

Very nice! I am going to wait for updates to the MacBook Pro line though (and for the roughly R25 000 I’ll need for that MacBook Pro to land in my lap).
