Publish shorter posts
One of the many blogging tips doing the rounds is to publish shorter blog posts. Darren Rowse has a post on this (it was published way back in 2005) which makes sense, if anything from the perspective of increasing the flow of content to your blog (which increases the number of entry points to your blog and traffic to the site). Darren has a great tip for longer post writers (like me): break the longer posts up into smaller posts, possibly to be published as a series. That being said, I still prefer to publish the odd long post in one shot.
