del.icio.us links
Subscribers to this blog’s feed and visitors to this blog will have noticed the steady stream of link posts each day. I am in two minds when it comes to these posts and I am interested in your thoughts on them.
These posts are published automatically each day from my del.icio.us bookmarks. On one hand I am not sure I like them being published directly to this blog each day because it suggests that I am too lazy to post and I am relying on sites I bookmark to fill the gap. On the other hand, I am experimenting with my del.icio.us bookmarks as a form of mini-blogging where I bookmark something that interests me enough to want to share it but not enough to inspire a full post. I am making more of a point to include a comment about the link concerned and I have this idea that publishing these bookmarks each day is a little like publishing a bunch of mini-posts to this blog. That, at least, is more of less where my mind is going with this at the moment.
So, do you have any thoughts either way? Love them, hate them? Are these links useful to you or a huge waste of space? If you are receiving these posts through the blog’s feed, do these link posts make you want to unsubscribe or do you find yourself clicking on those links and exploring the stories behind them?
What do you think?
