Oh sh… !

Isn’t is interesting (being diplomatic) how little things seem to pop up when you are working really hard to build your new empire that, although small, threaten to derail that new endeavour?  It can be pretty scary stepping out into new territory.  No matter how well you knew your old job, when you are self-employed the territory always looks really different and often quite lonely.

It is usually also the best time to remember to look inward and remind yourself how amazing you truly are and just hang onto that for a while.

Trying something new out

As you may have gathered, I am trying out a new outfit for my humble blog.  I like the darker look.  Let’s see where it takes me.

In other news I am also getting used to the free flowing robes of the self-employed (or as one of my friends puts it, "the unemployable").  I prefer these robes, just feels a little strange.  I do like it though … very much!

My fiance is right!

I had a discussion with G this evening about the origin of the word "testify".  I decided that her explanation was too outlandish to be true and it turns out … wait for it … SHE WAS RIGHT!

That being said (that she was right), I will not say it again and end this post.
