Wow, I have been at work for almost a full week already! As we come to the end of week 1 of the working 2005, it is a good time to take stock of this start to the year. I started this year determined to let go of what no longer serves me. I specifically have my current day job in mind. I have come to believe that there sometimes comes a time when you realise that if you don’t leave a job that doesn’t serve your best interests, you may never leave it and your life will always be less than it could have been had you taken the leap into the uncertain future. So I have decided to stop procrastinating (or procrastinate far less) this month and start putting some real efforts into creating a new future for me and G.

I have also started actively practising as a Reiki practitioner and this has been wonderful. I have been surprised at the results experienced by my two paying clients and this has really encouraged me to continue. On a related note, I also expect to give my first Reiki class at the end of this month and may this be the beginning of many classes in future. My Reiki practice has also given me a couple new ideas for the Healing Hearts @ Work workshops I have developed and have run with my friend Michelle. We have plans to introduce this simple and yet effective self-empowerment workshop to the corporate world and work towards helping all those people who feel powerless, empower themselves.

On a more unfortunate note, my blog seems to have gone a little nutty and I am hoping that this is just a glitch in the Blogger thing and that all will return to the perfection I had just a couple days ago. Pretty please!!! I hope this doesn’t persist, I don’t know if I have the patience to reinvent myself under a different name with a different blog. I wanna blog on Blogger and for all to be well. Again, pretty please?! Does anyone have contact details for some tech guru at Blogger who can fix my baby?
